i gave in.

i did it. i know, right? i finally started a blog. everyone in my life has been pressuring me, i had to just cave in. it's like robbing a 7-11, you've gotta just give in, do it and get it over with, no looking back, right? too bad i don't really have a life to share with anyone, so i'm pretty much just going to be posting my thoughts on the life i wish i had. it's actually more likely that i will be posting my thoughts about film and music with a little bit of horrible celebrity gossip. for example, katie holmes got an amazing haircut which she debuted last night at the Bambi Media Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany. and it really is amazing. it's the kind of haircut i would get if i were a celebrity and i could get extensions the next day. but alas, i am not a celebrity and i don't have the option of throwing hair extensions in my hair whenever i feel like it.

so it's christmastime which makes me so happy (despite the fact that i am currently listening to gloria estefan's "christmas through your eyes" for about the ten thousandth time this week), i have almost completely finished my shopping. except for i haven't really, i've just decided what i am getting everyone, and i'm very proud of myself for completing that step. kenny's birthday is on the ninth and i got his present yesterday and i am so excited to mail it to him!! it is the most exciting present EVER!! so happy birthday to kenny on the ninth and kudos to me for an awesome present.

this officially concludes my first blog. still to come: oscar watch! with notable performances from actors and actresses (both in supporting and lead roles) this year. don't be discouraged by this blog, it is only the beginning of many and it is as sheryl crow quotes (i believe it was) rod stewart "the first blog is the worstest" or something to that effect. so, we can only go up from here.

cheers!

gabrielle.

Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! What a great first post and I did enjoy it. I miss you girly and I am so glad it's christmas again too. I mean you better not be listening to anything but the christmas classics...if not, it's totally against the spirit of christmas.
